A Hands-On Workshop for Youth

Service Description
Workshop Overview:
What does a simple thread bracelet have to do with grit? More than you’d expect.
In this engaging, hands-on workshop designed especially for youth, we combine creativity and self-reflection to explore what it really means to develop grit the perseverance to keep going when things get tough.
Participants will begin by weaving a bracelet an activity that looks easy but requires patience, focus, and follow-through. Along the way, we pause to reflect on the parallels between crafting something by hand and working toward long-term goals.
This is not about perfection. In fact, most participants won’t finish the bracelet during the session and that’s the point. The workshop emphasizes process over product, making it a powerful metaphor for life’s bigger challenges.

What They’ll Learn:
- How grit helps us push through challenges, even when results take time
